Jill is one of the best sales leaders I've worked with. Though she reported directly to me for a time, working with her made me a better leader. At about the same time, Jill and I both began serving an underperforming region, its customers, and sales associates. Prior to Jill's work, the culture is best described as one of mediocrity. Jill immediately implemented a "Rolling 30-60-90 Day Plan," which not only became a plan that some followed to great success, it also became a mechanism to change the culture to one of accountability. As I had the opportunity to work more deeply with Jill, I became impressed by her passion and perseverance, her dedication to her team and customers, and willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed. Jill embodies to me what makes a great sales leader - the ability to use tough love to propel her team members to success even they didn't think possible. I am lucky to call her a friend and recommend her without hesitation to any employer and any role in which she believes she will succeed; or for that matter, to any customer seeking an internal advocate at any vendor with whom they work.
